Get a celebrity-white smile
Teeth whitening is one of the most popular and most affordable cosmetic dental options for Kerrville patients. If you have stained or discolored teeth and want an immediate and noticeable change, teeth whitening with Dr. Huff is a fantastic way to rejuvenate your smile. We have two options for whitening for our patients. We have ZOOM! in-office whitening as well a convenient at-home deep bleaching system.
In office ZOOM! teeth whitening
If you feel like it is time to upgrade your smile, ZOOM! teeth whitening can be a convenient solution. Dr. Huff can make a dull, worn out smile up to 8 shades whiter in less than an hour.
What can I expect at my Zoom! whitening appointment?
Dr. Huff will apply a specially formulated pH balanced hydrogen peroxide that, when activated by the Zoom! light, gently penetrates the teeth to remove stains and discoloration.
The process takes about 45 minutes and most patients report little sensitivity during the procedure. After treatment, Dr. Huff may recommend using special toothpaste to help alleviate sensitivity or otherwise protect your teeth. Patients love the results they see in just one visit. Compared to over the counter gradual whitening, ZOOM! is perfect for busy people just like you.
If you are interested in a take-home option for teeth whitening we are the place for you.
Dr. Huff will make molds of your teeth so you can have your own comfortable whitening trays. Then, you’ll have a simple visit in the dental office, followed by wearing your whitening trays with a specially formulated bleaching gel for two weeks at home while you sleep.
How long will my results last?
If you want your bright white smile to last, it is important to be aware of how teeth discolor. It is normal for teeth to discolor with age, but there are also avoidable factors such as consuming foods and drinks that can stain. The main culprits of a dull or discolored smile are tea, coffee, red wine, and tobacco. It is important to avoid staining agents after your treatment in order to have longer lasting results.
Can I afford teeth whitening?
If you are worried about the potential cost of teeth whitening, we want you to know we offer our patients an in office savings plan.
If you have dental work including veneers, crowns, or bridges, the procedure will not adversely affect the surfaces. If you are pregnant or breast-feeding we advise you to wait to have your teeth whitened.
